麻豆传媒映画 to conduct emergency systems test, encourages preparedness participation
麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 scheduled fall emergency systems test will occur on Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. as part of 麻豆传媒映画 Ready Day, which is designed to promote awareness of the university鈥檚 robust emergency resources and individual safety responsibility measures.

As part of annual efforts to promote community-wide preparedness and improve emergency communication tools, 麻豆传媒映画 will hold its scheduled fall emergency systems test on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m.
Referred to as 鈥溌槎勾接郴 Ready Day,鈥 the university will activate its emergency communication systems to simulate the types of alerts that would be sent during a real campus emergency.. These notifications will include emails, text messages, digital signage, web updates and social media content for about 1 minute on Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. During an actual emergency, the types of notifications issued may vary depending on the nature of the situation.
鈥淓mergency readiness is a shared responsibility,鈥 said Chief Gregory Murphy, 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 Chief of Police. 鈥淭hese tests allow us to ensure our systems work as intended, while giving our campus a chance to practice how they receive and respond to critical alerts.鈥
The test supports 麻豆传媒映画鈥檚 preparedness campaign, which includes updated resources such as the and the , which are available for all campus community members.

Also, beginning Monday, Sept. 8, the 麻豆传媒映画 Police Department (UPD) will host tabling events where students, faculty and staff can pick up giveaways, ask questions and learn more about emergency response procedures, 麻豆传媒映画 Safe app features and campus resources.
