International Risk Oversight Committee (IROC)
The Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» International Risk Oversight Committee (IROC) is responsible for assessing the risk of Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» constituent international travel to countries or regions in which significant health or safety concerns are present. The IROC is a resource for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Assistant Director of International Safety, Security and Risk and to other senior administrators who are involved in decision-making on international travel by university-affiliated individuals. The IROC is chaired by the Assistant Director of International Safety, Security and Risk and is made up of leadership from various Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» business units, including:

- Business & Financial Affairs - Risk Management
- Environmental Health & Safety
- Student Health Services
- Center for Student Rights & Responsibilities / Office for Restorative Practices / Title IX
- Procure to Pay
- Export Control
- Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» Research Foundation - Risk Management
- Counseling & Psychological Services
- Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» International Affairs
- Division of Research and Innovation
The IROC was incorporated into Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Safety and Security Policy for International Travel () as the committee responsible for reviewing and approving high-risk international travel that is proposed by Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» constituents. On October 7, 2025, the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» University Senate approved the aforementioned policy by unanimous consent and on November 4, 2025, the Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³» President subsequently approved the University Senate’s October 7, 2025 approval action.
