鈥淎 regular season championship is something that we鈥檝e talked about and been working towards for the entire season,鈥 said head coach Peter Mattera. 鈥淭o be where we are right now, regular season conference champions, feels right, but we鈥檙e not satisfied. We鈥檇 certainly like to carry that forward, go into the tournament as the number one seed and win it.鈥
Thursday鈥檚 regular season finale against UNLV is set to get underway at 1 p.m. San Diego State will honor seniors Yasmine Kabbaj and Olmos in a senior day celebration.
