The mission of ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³»­-IV’s Criminal Justice Department is to provide students with broad-based learning experiences in law enforcement and the American judicial system.

β€œThe criminal justice program at ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³»­-IV has grown dramatically over the past twenty years in response to the needs of the justice system in Imperial County, the State and Southwestern region," said Michael Sabath, a former associate dean of ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³»­-IV.

"The program employs a core faculty of academics on the ΒιΆΉ΄«Γ½Σ³»­-IV campus supported by a strong complement of experienced justice professionals including judges, lawyers, chief law enforcement officials and correctional administrators working in the region. The strong connections between the justice community in the region and the criminal justice program and faculty contribute greatly to the program's success.”
